Dirty Paris Celebrates First Anniversary with Albany Show

“Dirty Paris will take the stage tomorrow night at the Red Square in Albany in celebration of the one-year anniversary since first performing at the venue. The band’s progressive psychedelic jams will resonate starting at 8:30 p.m. Friday (2/19) at 388 Broadway. The special event will feature more than just music from Dirty Paris and the supporting act, Jimkata. Local artists and glass-blowers will be present exhibiting and selling their work. Dirty Paris has gaining regional attention for its innovations of the traditional jam-band style. Formed in 2008 in Albany, the group has frequented Red Square and Revolution Hall in Troy in support of national acts such as Sound Tribe Sector 9 as well as headlined its own shows. Last year, Dirty Paris had a breakthrough performance at the Camp Bisco music festival in Mariaville, which has hosted musicians such as Snoop Dog, the Disco Biscuits, Umphrey’s McGee and Nas & Damian Marley.”
